a weekend appointment in the foothills of the Acropolis!
Tango Acropolis Festival of 2013 is based on the concept of human unity expressed through the tango embrace which constitutes a universal form of expression and communication.
The whole world of Tango, amateurs and professionals dancers or just the enthusiasts of art and dance from around the globe, will meet in the birthplace of civilization, under the majestic beauty of the Acropolis.
Three of the most significant, historic and archaeological sites of Athens hosts the Tango and its culture!!
July 5 – Acropolis Museum.
July 6 – Theatre Dora Stratou .
July 7-Ancient Roman Agora .
All the people who will attend to these evenings will have the opportunity to enjoy unique music and dance happening by notable artists and professional dancers of Tango from Argentina Japan, Portugal, Ukraine, New York, and from other European countries and from Greece.
This cultural event is under the auspices of the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO, the Ministry of Tourism of Greece the Embassy of Argentina in Greece and the Municipality of Athens .
