Στις 23 και 24 Ιουνίου 2012 πραγματοποιήθηκε το 5ο Φεστιβάλ Ποντιακών χορών και Παιδικών Χορευτικών Τμημάτων στο Θέατρο Πάρκου Κατερίνης. Οργανωμένο από τον ΣΠΟΣ Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας και Θεσσαλίας και την Ένωση Ποντίων Πιερίας καθώς και του Οργανισμού Πολιτισμού, Παιδέιας, Αθλητισμού και Πρόνοιας του Δήμου Κατερίνης το φεστιβάλ αποτελεί ένα από τα κορυφαία του είδους του στη χώρα μας όπου παρουσιάζονται παραδοσιακοί Ποντιακοί Χοροί.

Folk Dances of Pontus Festival
In June 23-24, 2012 took place the 5th Folk Dances Festival of Pontus in Park Theatre of Katerini. It is held by the Association of People of Pontus of Central Macedonia, Thessaly and Pieria as well as the Municipal Organization of culture, Education and Sports of Katerini. It is considered as one of greatest of its kind as it present the culture and the dances of Pontus.
